NEWARK, DE - (12/28/22) - The Red Team, captained by Al and Trevor, captured the Red/White Cup this year in a highly competetive matchup versus the White Team captained by Don and Rob on Thursday night in the Gold Arena at the University of Delaware.

The game was the closest and lowest-scoring R/W Classic Game in team history, as the White Team was able to score the tying goal with about 30 seconds left in the game after pulling their goalie. About a minute into the overtime period, Mike Hauske put home a rebound from the goal line to win it by a 5-4 score. The OT GWG helped Hauske earn the coveted Red/White MVP Sweater. The goaltending was superb in this game, both Craig Fultz and Nick Wickwire turned away upwards of 50 shots each.
